Across from the house I lived in at the time was a small grocery store where I regularly bought my groceries. The man who worked there often inquired about my job and mentioned that my influence inspired him to study Computer Science at Oxford Brookes. He also offered to let us convert his shop into our own space. We rented the shop from him and kept in touch with his progress over the years—he eventually went on to manage the databases for the Bank of England! Meanwhile, we developed our own database to manage our clients and expanded our services to include more software development, writing, and design.
