The business began as a one-man operation in a garage on Cowley Road, where I would drive to clients around Oxford and London. If I couldn’t fix the machines on-site, I’d bring them back to the garage. My sole employee at the time, the son of the Rickman Motorcycle Empire, would then repair them overnight. Occasionally, we needed parts for repairs, which meant making a quick trip to the small shop on Cowley Road called Sinoco.
