Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Introduction

At Computer Assistance, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help. This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines your rights and our procedures regarding returns and refunds.

2. Returns

2.1. Eligibility for Returns

You have the right to return goods within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason. To be eligible for a return, the goods must be unused and in the same condition that you received them. They must also be in the original packaging.

2.2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned. These include:

Perishable goods (e.g. compressed air, alcoholic wipes)

Custom or personalised items

Sanitary goods

Digital products (e.g., software downloads)

2.3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at [email protected] with your order number and details of the product you wish to return, or visit our Oxford store. We will then provide you with instructions or assist you with returning your item(s).

2.4. Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

3. Refunds

3.1. Inspection and Approval

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.

3.2. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at [email protected].

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at [email protected] with your order number and details of the product.

5. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy affects your statutory rights. Under UK law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods and receive a full refund, including the cost of standard delivery.
